From Allergies to Action
Late 2018, our founder, Joshua discovered he had severe allergies to pollution fumes and other air pollutants. Upon researching the global impact of pollutants especially Nigerians’ health, he learned that over 100,000 people in his country died from air pollution and related complications each year.

Why "LEARNBLUE"
The name LEARNBLUE embodies everything we stand for as an organization. ‘LEARN’ represents our calling and commitment to inspire positive action, empower change, and achieve our mission through unconventional education, awareness, advocacy, and in-depth research.
‘BLUE’ exemplifies the spirit of Generation Z—the bold, determined, dynamic, and pragmatic voices shaping our future by making a lasting impact. We selected Vivid Blue, a color that blends fierceness and serenity, often mistaken for purple—just as Gen Z is defying old rules, redefining norms, and pushing boundaries.
‘BLUE’ also symbolises our dedication to preserving Earth—the blue, the only life-supporting planet in the Solar System—from the disastrous consequences of human actions. Together, LEARNBLUE is a reflection of a generation that refuses to settle for the status quo and is devoted to building a sustainable future for everyone on Earth.
